Valerio Lisci
Valerio is winner of the silver medal (Second Prize) in 2019 at the 11th USA International Harp Competition, first prize at the International Harp Sound Competition in Saluzzo (2016), first prize at the Korea International Harp Competition in Seoul (2018 ) and first prize at the Reinl-Stiftung Fondation Competition in Vienna (2018).
After covering the position as principal harp soloist at the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in Geneva, he is now principal harp soloist of the Arena di Verona Orchestra.

Letizia Belmondo, harpist
Valerio graduated from the Turin Conservatory and continued her studies in Lausanne, where he obtained two Master of Arts’ degrees with Letizia Belmondo. The Haute École de Musique de Lausanne awarded him a special prize for his talent during the graduation ceremony.
Valerio has participated in numerous international competitions, almost always winning first prize. In 2012 First Prize at the Concorso Internazionale Città di Cagliari, in 2016 First Prize at the Concorso Internazionale Suoni d’Arpa di Saluzzo, in 2018 he won First Prize both in Seoul, at the Korea International Harp Competition, and in Vienna, Reinl -Concorso della Fondazione Stiftung. Finally, in 2019 he won the silver medal (Second Prize) at the 11th USA International Harp Competition. On this occasion, he also won the special prize for the best performance of a contemporary piece.
Three foundations have awarded Valerio the First Prize and funded and promoted him: in 2014 the Fondazione CRT in Turin, in 2017 the Kiefer Hablitzel in Bern and in 2018 the Schenk in Zofingen.
Valerio performs as a soloist in Europe, the United States and Korea. Festivals he has participated in include the Menuhin Festival in Gstaad, the Korea Harp Festival in Seoul, the O/Modernt Festival in Stockholm, the Musikdorf in Ernen, the Harp Plus in Zaragoza, and the Mizmorim Festival in Basel. Important performances include Debussy’s Dances in Turin with the Camerata Ducale, R. Gliere’s Concerto in Zofingen with the Aargau Philharmonic and J. Rodrigo’s Aranjuez Concerto in Lausanne with the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra.
Valerio has the deep desire of expanding the harp repertoire and is dedicated to composing original pieces and transcriptions for his instrument.
